What is color correction?
Painters are familiar with the chromatic circle and the use of opposing colors, the principle being that the intensity of a color is attenuated when it is mixed with its opposite.
All colors are represented on the chromatic circle, and each color has its opposite. When the two opposing colors are mixed together, they neutralize one another. Thus, green neutralizes red and yellow neutralizes blue.
