Al Danah Medical company and Pierre Fabre have held a scientific symposium on acne management at the 18th of September at Sheraton-Doha hotel. The event which was moderated by
Dr. Hassan Al Abdullah, Consultant Dermatologist in Qatar, included two lectures. The first one was presented by Dr. Hassan Riad, Consultant Dermatologist in HMC, was about “Update on Anti-microbial therapy and isotretinoin treatment of Acne Vulgaris” . The Second lecture was entitled “The biofilm of P.acnes – Recent data on the pathophysiology of Acne” and was presented by Professor Nicolas Dupin, Head of Dermatology department in Cochin Hospital, Paris, France.

At the end of the symposium, Mr. Emmylou Saint-Aubert, the project manager of Pierre Fabre Company, has launched two new anti-acne medications which are Keracnyl pp new formula and Curacne 40 mg.
